微軟前老闆Bill Gates對iPad的觀點

Bill Gates4月21日拜訪加州柏克利大學（UC Berkeley），學生問到：
" 你曾說過Steve Jobs可看到未來的大事。你指的是(喜歡)iPad麼？You once said Steve Jobs could see the next big thing. Do you like the iPad?"
Bill回答：
"iPad還好啦。目前狀況還不清楚。但iPad外觀看來不錯，設計很好，iPad證明我對Steve Jobs的看法沒錯。It's Okay. The scenarios aren't that clear. But it's good looking. Steve Jobs does good design, and the iPad is absolutely a good example of that."
Bill就是說不出來好話。但老人原諒他，要說對手好，這很難的！
不久前我就轉載他批評iPad的話，來至CNET，今年二月iPad未上市前："我相信有筆和鍵盤的Netbook才是主流"。言下之意是iPad不會成主流。
我給微軟的建言是：請不要再說iPad前景不明好麼（The scenarios aren't that clear.）！你已經在iPod，iPhone 上都犯錯兩次了！連傻瓜跟笨蛋都看出來前景了，你還在等奇蹟？連PC fan的大本營，PCmag的主編，都看出來問題了，趕快趕快派殺手Killer下凡來罷！
