蘋果執行長Tim Cook公開道歉蘋果地圖問題,原文如下:
“To our customers,

At Apple, we strive to make world-class products that deliver the best experience possible to our customers. With the launch of our new Maps last week, we fell short on this commitment. We are extremely sorry for the frustration this has caused our customers and we are doing everything we can to make Maps better.

We launched Maps initially with the first version of iOS. As time progressed, we wanted to provide our customers with even better Maps including features such as turn-by-turn directions, voice integration, Flyover and vector-based maps. In order to do this, we had to create a new version of Maps from the ground up.

There are already more than 100 million iOS devices using the new Apple Maps, with more and more joining us every day. In just over a week, iOS users with the new Maps have already searched for nearly half a billion locations. The more our customers use our Maps the better it will get and we greatly appreciate all of the feedback we have received from you.

While we're improving Maps, you can try alternatives by downloading map apps from the App Store like Bing, MapQuest and Waze, or use Google or Nokia maps by going to their websites and creating an icon on your home screen to their web app.

Everything we do at Apple is aimed at making our products the best in the world. We know that you expect that from us, and we will keep working non-stop until Maps lives up to the same incredibly high standard.

iPad佔平板網路流量98.1%,行動裝置流量54.5%


平板上網幾乎都是iPad的天下,這已不是新聞了。只是各家的報導其百分比都一樣高的嚇人。
Onswipe,一家專為廠商把網頁改為觸控界面的公司,在9月13日到20日一星期中,在1200個網站的分析,發現iPad佔網頁流量的98.1%,一星期就有2950萬的流量。
其他三星平板佔1.53%,亞馬遜Fire佔0.11%,華碩佔0.06%。
iPad也佔所有行動流量的54.5%!
iPad在網上瀏覽的時間也比iPhone多出56.9%。

但以系統來分析,蘋果iOS只佔 75.12%,Android佔22.3%,其他2.5%。
難怪Tim Cook在介紹iPhone 5時提出的iPad數據,iPad市佔率是68%,佔全部平板網路流量的91%,見“蘋果iPhone 5發表會上的官方數據”,讓他懷疑買其他平板的人,他的Android平板都放在哪裡去?
