Google 控制 Android 系統的升級，決定那家廠商可先升級？

AT&T 的執行長 Randall Stephenson 上星期在Milken Institute 的全球會議上道出了 Google Android 不為人知的秘密：“Google determines what platform gets the newest releases and when. A lot of times, that's a negotiated arrangement and that's something we work at hard. We know that's important to our customers. Google 決定那家平台可先獲取最新版本。很多時候，這是談判妥協的安排，這就是我們公司在努力 爭取的地方。我們知道，對我們的客戶而言，這(新版升級)是重要的。”。
許多 Android 的信徒都被這段話所惶惑！因為大家都願相信 Android 是“Open 開放”的。Google 官方當然回話說不知這位執行長所指為何 (frankly we don't understand what he is referring to. Google does not have any agreements in place that require a negotiation before a handset launches
)。

也許這爭議可說明：Android 4.0 已上市幾個月，但根據 Android 發展中心2012年5月1 日的數據，目前Android 裝置也只4.9%用新系統4x。用3x系統的也只佔3.3%。

所以當Google買下摩特羅拉Motorola Mobility 時，你能不當心麼？
