HTC宏達電的EVO賣的嚇嚇叫。一般評語也似乎比以前的HTC Android手機好。至少還有人拿它跟iPhone 4.0比。
在EVO首賣日後，美國手機電訊商Sprint六月七日，發文說EVO破他們公司的手機記錄，比以往記錄保持的三星Instinct和Palm Pre還多。還
強調EVO第一天賣的數量是三星Instinct和Palm Pre加起來，前三天的總量的三倍！
這是不得了、不得了的數據！一天是兩家三天加起來的總量的三倍。老人很替台灣之光驚喜！
宏達電在台股票大漲。
但今天Sprint卻更正賣出的數量了。沒有三倍了！是其他兩家加起來的總量才對。(不過到底賣多少，還是迷？因為沒數據。一說為15萬隻。)
事實上不利HTC EVO 分析很多：

其他分析主要的問題都在電池耐航力。但願HTC EVO能解決電池問題！如老人所提，我們不開法拉帝，不開保時捷，只求省油安全和好開！
周永明在D8上就承認電池是個問題，並表示「EVO不像iPhone，他的電池是可替換的」（暗示EVO使用者外出請多帶幾顆電池備用...）
